SPEEDFAN实现CPU风扇转速自动调节设置方法(SPEEDFAN realizes
automatic control setting method for CPU fan speed)
SPEEDFAN realizes automatic control setting method for CPU fan
speed
First, the fan speed function of main board and fan interface
on the main board are given. Main board of the fan speed control
functions are divided into two PWM mode and DC mode, different
brand with different patterns, different types of motherboard
can also support two modes, specific support which model have
to go to the motherboard BIOS to see inside.
The so-called PWM mode, which refers to the fan's speed
adjustment, needs to be realized through a speed regulating
signal line, which is the 4pin interface (the 4pin interface
and the d-type of the outlet of the power supply) fan. Generally
speaking, 4pin fan is difficult to buy in the market, it often
only matches on the original radiator. However, we are more
common with the 3pin fan, which is inserted in the 3pin outlet
of the motherboard. Only the main board that supports the DC
speed control mode can control the 3pin fan. However, most
motherboards use PWM mode to speed the CPU fan. The premise of
using SPEEDFAN to automatically adjust the CPU fan speed is that
the motherboard supports either of the above two modes.
Although most of the motherboard has automatic adjustment
function to the CPU fan, however the mainboard comes often
disappointing, the features of the speed regulation such as
still think the noise is very big, or hope to be able to open
the fan when playing games, don't play games closed when the
fan, etc. SPEEDFAN is then used to personalize the CPU fans.
As for the use of SPEEDFAN to control the fan in the main board
BIOS, I am not sure, but I am closed anyway.
The SPEEDFAN software I used is in English version 4.38. The
latest version is version 4.40, but 4.40 is a little bit of a
problem on my computer, which is not as good as version 4.38,
so I'll take the 4.38 version. SPEENFAN is a very unique
software, it implements the function is very comprehensive, but
it is too detailed Settings (some not enough human nature), so
that a lot of friends think that this software are ineffective,
actually there is no set reason. Some difficult English friends
can also download the Chinese version. Since version 4.38,
SPEEDFAN has started to support the win732 and 64-bit operating
systems.
Run speedfan, and after a while, the interface appears:
Click "configure" to enter the options menu. I use the peeling
onion method to be set by shallow and deep, so that I can
remember easily and ask my friends to be patient. J
The first TAB can select which temperatures to display on the
display screen of the software. I chose to display TEMP1
(mainboard temperature), TEMP2 (CPU temperature) and HD0 (the
first hard disk temperature). Notice the plus sign on the left
side of the temperature marker? We're going to look at this plus
sign in a second.
Note: TEMP1, The temperature of the representative is
different, and the friends have to decide for themselves which
of their SPEEDFAN is the main plate temperature and which is
the CPU temperature. If there is a mistake, the CPU temperature
will be white.
The second TAB allows you to select which fan speeds are
displayed on the software interface.
There are no other functions (there are five fans here because
the motherboard chip can support the control of five fans at
most, but the motherboard only gives you two fan interfaces).
Here I chose to show FAN1 (chassis fan) and FAN2 (CPU fan).
The third TAB can select which voltage values to display on the
software interface, and unconcerned friends can click on it.
There's nothing to say here
The fourth TAB allows you to select which fans to display on
the software world, and to control those speeds, and I chose
SPEED01 (case fan) and SPEED02 (CPU fan). This TAB has other
functions, and we'll talk about that later.
The fifth TAB is about some features of the software, so please
click on my Settings.
The seventh TAB (skip the sixth TAB), fan speed setting starts
now!
Yi? After the dot is open, is it blank? Don't worry, if you find
your control chip model in the chip drop-down menu, these
options prove the right choice. Change the PWM1 MODE and PWM2
MODE to Software controlled (must choose a Software controlled,
the fan by SPEEDFAN control, with the mainboard control
disconnection), and to remember it checked on the lower right
corner, final confirmation PWMOUT CLOCK has a value of 3 m. (all
of these options have a remember it.)
Once the software has some kind of error, or the operating
system has some kind of error that causes the software to work
abnormal, the fan's speed is still not controlled by the main
board, so there is still a bit of risk.
Then go back to the first setup TAB
See the expanded menu that appears after clicking on the plus
sign, which allows you to select the speed of the fan at a
certain temperature (which is ). Here, I chose
TEMP1 (my motherboard temperature) only to SPEED01 (my case
fan), and TEMP2 (my CPU temperature) only has to do with SPEED02
(my CPU fan). The other hard disk temperature, core temperature,
graphics card temperature and other extension menus are removed,
otherwise it will affect the software's judgment of fan speed.
Set the TAB below and another row, desired refers to the
temperature you want, I set here is 40 degrees, namely when
TEMP3 (i.e., my CPU temperature) temperature more than 40
degrees, fan began to accelerate, below 40 degrees, according
to the set speed the minimum; Warning is the warning temperature,
where the fan reaches the maximum speed limit when the
temperature reaches 50 degrees. (for "setting speed" please
look down). The show in tray on the lower right is set this
temperature to be displayed on the system tray, where I let the
CPU temperature display in the system tray.
My suggestion is that can be expected to raise some temperature
appropriate, such as the security of the CPU temperature at 60
degrees, don't play games when the CPU temperature in 48 degrees
or so, so expect temperature value can be configured on 51
degrees, warning temperature value is set in 58 degrees, it is
quiet and safe.
Now let's go to the fourth TAB.
First click here SPEED02 SPEED02 (in my here is CPU fan), look,
there was a row of options below, Minimum value is the Minimum
speed fan, I set a 0, Maximum value is the biggest fan speed,
I am a 100 set. See the Automatically variated in the lower right
corner? This check must be selected, otherwise the software
will not automatically adjust the speed. SPEED01 is about the
speed control of the main board fan, and so on.
, of course, you can set the maximum value as a low value (e.g.,
50%), so even if you play games made the CPU temperature, it
is running at 50%, although silent, be careful to burn the CPU.
Some fans will stop turning at a certain value (usually 35
percent), which should be noted. So friends can adjust their
speed manually to find the lowest value of their fan.
Finally, go back to the software master interface and use
Automatic fan speed to hook up, and the work is done!
Be worth what carry is, if your case fans also have automatic
speed control function, and your speed of case fans also has
carried on the set, so the software can be according to the CPU
temperature and case temperature at the same time to adjust the
CPU fan and case fans.
