摘要：PURPOSE:To provide a color facsimile equipment able to print out original
information of black/white signal with a black/white printer even when the original
black/white information is received in the color mode. CONSTITUTION:Reception picture
data are stored in a compression data storage section 23. Furthermore, page information
is stored in a page information temporary storage section 29 via a compression data
management section 27. A color/ discrimination section 28 is started when it
receives a notice of the reception in the color mode based on page information and
discriminates whether or not picture data stored in the compression data management
section 27 are truly color picture data. When the picture data are discriminated not to be
true color picture data through the discrimination, a color/ conversion section
24 converts the picture data into picture data and outputs the converted data
to a selector S3. Since the selector S3 selects a multi-value page decoding
section 31, the picture data are decoded by the multi-value page decoding
section 31 and printed out by a printer 36.
