摘要： Yarn consisting of core-sheath strands and optionally other monoconstituants
strands, wherein the core and cladding of said strands are manufactured by extruding
spinnable polymers and at least approximately all the strands in core and sheath have a
complete sheath, characterized in that all the strands in core and sheath present in the
yarn, the percentage of core-sheath strands A, in which the sheath portion in each strand
is equal to (MU 0.1 M)% of total volume of the corresponding strand, simultaneously
satisfies the following conditions: A 100; H 0.5; 30 + (0.1 M) 8. In a process for making this
thread, the core component is supplied through a first die plate to a second spinnerette
plate in a plurality of individual flows. The sheath component is fed between the first and
second die plates, with each individual stream of core component, around which it flows.
The two components are spun together, drawn and wound. The sheath component is
subjected to a flow resistance at least around the region of the individual streams of the
component core. A metal mesh provides a particularly suitable flow resistance.
