摘要:An assembling method for a multicore optical fiber connector which can

prevent a locally curved optical fiber from being fixed by an adhesive and a connector

from being deformed concavely and which can facilitate an automated assembly work. A

taper portion (3) communicating with a core insertion hole (2) of a ferrule (1) and

gradually decreasing in diameter toward the tip end thereof is provided and the tip end

(33) of a coated portion of a multicore optical fiber tape core (31) is anchored at the

middle (8) of the taper portion (3) to determine an insertion position for the core (31). A

plurality of exposed optical fibers (32) have their tip ends guided by a plurality of conical

induction portions (4) provided adjacently at the outlet of the taper portion (3) and

collectively inserted into a fine optical fiber insertion hole (7) safely and positively. The

ferrule (1) has no adhesive injection window.
