摘要:PURPOSE:To prevent a powdery or granular material from adhering and staying

and grade the material in a pneumatic conveyance pipe while conveying the material, by

opening numerous injection ports for causing a peripheral air flow, in a peripheral part of

the pneumatic conveyance pipe in which a conveying flow is changed from a horizontal

direction to an upward direction. CONSTITUTION:Grains of large size or specific gravity,

which are not conveyed by an upward conveying flow A in a pneumatic conveyance pipe

(a), revolve in the pipe and stay in an outlet port 1. Other grains, which are conveyed by

the conveying flow A, are likely to fall on the bottom of a bent section a2 due to their

own weight and centrifugal force based on the change of the direction of the conveying

flow and stay or adhere to the pipe (a) to hinder an air conveying function. Air of

prescribed pressure is supplied from an air pipe 6 and injected into the pneumatic

conveyance pipe (a) through injection ports 2, 2 to cause a peripheral flow B so that the

grains adhering and staying on the bottom of the bent section a2 are buoyed up by the

peripheral flow B. Some of the buoyed-up grains are conveyed by the flow A and the

others revolve in the pneumatic conveyance pipe (a) and fall into the outlet port 1.
