Pixium RAD 4600+
Digital radiography
• Easy to integrate
• High-quality digital images
• Large format: 17” x 17”
• Reduced radiation dose
• Instantaneous imaging
Pixium RAD 4600+: the benchmark
in large-format 100% digital imaging
The Pixium RAD 4600+ combines a flat-panel digital detector
with dedicated image processing software to provide a complete,
top-quality digital imaging unit.
The choice of many X-ray equipment manufacturers, Pixium
radiographic detectors are already integrated in thousands of
X-ray systems worldwide. They are clinically proven in the field,
delivering significant improvements for radiologists, technicians
and patients alike.
Pixium RAD 4600+ :
quality, safety, simplicity, reliability
A complete, easy-to-integrate imaging
function
The Pixium RAD 4600+ is an imaging solution, very
easy to integrate in X-ray systems. The preprocessing
software handles image acquisition, calibration and
formatting. All hardware and software upgrades are
totally transparent for users, who can always count on
a system at the cutting edge of performance.
Lower X-ray dose for greater patient
safety
The detector is based on the clinically proven Pixium
advanced cesium iodide scintillator, offering out-
standing X-ray absorption capacity, reducing dose
exposure to the patient while ensuring high-quality
images.
Speed for greater comfort
and workflow
Images are available in just 5 seconds, making
exams much more comfortable for patients and
optimizing clinical resources and staff, for greater
productivity.
Top-quality digital images for enhanced
diagnosis
The Pixium RAD 4600+ detector combines high
detection quantum efficiency (DQE) with a large
number of pixels and high dynamic range (14 bits),
revealing even the slightest anatomical detail for a
high-precision diagnosis.
Very large format for multiple
applications
The Pixium RAD 4600+ meets the requirements of
general X-ray exams, as well as for the thorax,
abdomen, skeleton or limbs. It offers a large
17’’ x 17’’ (43 cm x 43 cm) format that covers all
needs, without requiring mechanical rotation of the
detector. This means that the X-ray technician can
display each area of interest in real time.
The new PixRad software
is extremely versatile
The new PixRad software supports a number of
different configurations, using either a single
detector, the Pixium RAD 4600+, or combinations
of several detectors (Pixium RAD 4600+, Pixium
Portable 3543). This feature greatly facilitates the
management of our entire range of X-ray
detectors, both current and future.
