i like weekend写一篇作文

I love weekends, simply because they're joyful! My

ideal weekend is one where I can take a break from the

burdens of studying and truly unwind. If I could also take

the opportunity to appreciate the magnificent landscapes

of our motherland, that would be absolutely perfect.

Weekends are seen differently by different people—

some find them happy, others exciting, some sad, but in my

eyes, they're thrilling because it means I'll get to have a

barbecue with my family. We finally arrived at the

legendary barbecue sanctuary, located beneath a reservoir

dam. There were places to sit on the stone dam, clear

flowing water in the channel, and shaded areas near the

mountains—a truly great spot! The male teachers

immediately sprang into action: some fetching water, some

gathering firewood, and others setting up the barbecue

equipment. The female teachers quickly followed suit,

preparing food and arranging tools. Our menu included

little yellow croaker, chicken wings, sausages, steamed buns,

bone-in meat, mushrooms, and more. Because everything

was so delicious, I even tried cauliflower and leeks for the

first time, which I had never tasted before.

I truly wish every weekend could be this delightful, but

I know that's not possible. We still need to study and can't

afford to relax every weekend like this.
