《大学英语二级》口语考试参考题目
考试要求：学生自行分好四人一组，就所抽到的主题进行5-6分钟对话，总分值为10分。
测试内容为《大学体验英语综合教程2》的Unit 1、3、5、7单元和《新视野大学英语2》的
Unit 1、3单元相关主题讨论。测试中交流应自然流利，语法和词汇应用基本正确。为便于
学生更好地提前准备，现就本次口语考试参考题目公布如下，每组可在课后自行选取下列
10个话题中的4个提前准备好，考试当日教师再从4个话题中随机选取一个作为各组最终
的考试话题，每组有10分钟的提前准备时间。
Task 1
Work in groups and talk about our universities with the assistance of passage A “Oxford
University”. Your general introduction might include the location, status, history, scale,
scholarship, achievement and mission of ECJT University. And of course, some other intriguing
things concerning our university are also valued.
Task 2
Work in groups and talk in detail about 6 things which you consider the most important and
would like to accomplish in college life. Besides, how will you achieve them?
Task 3
Without any doubt, our life and consumer behaviors are greatly influenced by advertisements
of any kind. Work in groups and offer your opinions on whether we are “Victim or Beneficiary of
Advertising”.
Task 4
We are living in a world that ads may appear anytime anywhere. Ads are so irresistible that
we are lured into buying something that we don’t really need. So how to be a smart and rational
shopper in such an fashion-dominated world?
Task 5
Bill Gates suggests us: education counts. Hold a discussion among your group concerning the
advantages of getting a good education.
Task 6
You are freshman on campus, but you have the dream of being a success at your very early
age. How do you define success at present (in the 4-year college life)? How to achieve it? Share
your opinion with your partners.
Task 7
Your parent must impose great influence on you in your life. Talk about the influence of your
parent on you and what you learned from your parent.
Task 8
Describe your family to each other. Your conversation should include the general introduction
of your family, and the description of one aspect of your parent’s character.
Task 9
Different cultural background may result in many differences on politeness between western
countries and China which can be found in many aspects of daily communication, including
greeting, parting, dining, addressing, compliments, apologies, thanks, invitation and so on.
Discuss these with your group members in some depth.
Task 10
How would you feel about international marriage? What are the advantages and
disadvantages of an international marriage? How to be in harmony with a mate from a different
country? Talk about all these things related.
