摘要：The subject matter of the invention is an electrical compression switch having a
stationary switching piece 15 and a moving switching piece 16, and having a blow-back
channel which is formed by the moving switching piece 6 and a blow-back tube, and
having a moving compression cylinder 20, which is connected to the moving switching
piece 6, and a compression device for extinguishing gas, which has a stationary
compression piston 2. The compression switch furthermore contains a separating wall
which divides the compression chamber of the compression device into two partial
compression chambers 4, 5. At least one passage 24 connecting the two partial
compression chambers 4, 5 is provided in the separating wall 21. The passage can be
closed by a non-return valve which opens towards the partial compression chamber 4
which is located away from the compression piston 2. Until a predetermined distance
between the contacts of the switching pieces 15, 6 is reached, the blow-back tube 7 is
separated from the space outside the compression chamber and is connected to the
partial chamber 4. After reaching the predetermined distance between the contacts, the
blow-back tube 7 is connected to the space outside the compression chamber and is
separated from the partial chamber 4.
