My Cookbook
Hi, my name is Emily, and I'm in fourth grade. I love cooking
and trying new recipes! My mom taught me how to cook when I
was little, and it's become one of my favorite hobbies. I even
have my own cookbook where I write down all my favorite
recipes. Let me share some of them with you!
Breakfast Delights
The most important meal of the day is breakfast, and one of
my go-to recipes is Fluffy Pancakes. Here's what you need:
Ingredients:
1 cup all-purpose flour
2 tablespoons sugar
2 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 egg
1 cup milk
2 tablespoons melted butter or vegetable oil
Instructions:
In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking
powder, and salt.
In a separate bowl, beat the egg and then whisk in the milk
and melted butter.
Pour the milk mixture into the flour mixture and stir just until
combined (don't overmix).
Heat a lightly oiled griddle or frying pan over medium heat.
For each pancake, scoop about 1/4 cup of batter onto the
griddle.
Cook until bubbles appear on the surface, then flip and cook
until golden brown.
Serve hot with your favorite toppings like syrup, berries, or
whipped cream!

For lunch, I like to make simple but tasty dishes. One of my
