4 BASIC REQUIREMENTS.
4.1 RESTRICTED AND REPORTABLE SUBSTANCES

specification must comply with the requirements listed in
5.2 QUALITY CONTROL TESTS. Quality control tests are
routine tests which are to be run on production parts as a
means of insuring part quality and/or process quality.
Frequency of these tests shall be based on a statistical sam-
pling plan determined by supplier. Tests are to be run in
accordance with class requirements as designated on the part
drawing and in Table 1. These tests shall also be performed
during the initial qualification process for paint materials.
5.2.1 Tape Adhesion Test shall be conducted according to
GM9071P
GMW3059, Restricted and Reportable Substances for
Parts.
4.2 PAINTED PARTS PERFORMANCE. Parts furnished to
this standard shall meet the test requirements shown in Table 1
for the class of finish specified.
