Some new students of Blue Sky College want to learn more about college life.
They are now talking with Mrs Brown, their counsellor.

Catherine: Mrs Brown, what's the major difference between high school and c
ollege?

Mrs Brown: Independence. As college students, you will have a lot of freedom
. That means you must mainly rely on yourselves and make your own decisions. O
n the other hand, you must be responsible for everything you do
布朗女士：独立。作为大学生，你会有很大的自由。这就意味着你必须主要依靠自己，
做出自己的决定。另一方面，你必须对自己所做的事情负责。
Steven: I heard that the library is very important for college students. Is that t
rue?
史蒂文：我听说图书馆对大学生很重要。真的吗?
Mrs Brown: Sure. Reading in the library is an important part of college life. Yo
u should make full use of the library.
布朗女士：当然。在图书馆里阅读是大学生活的一个重要部分。你应该充分利用图书
馆。
Linda: How about campus activities?
琳达：校内活动怎么样？
Mrs Brown: There are many interesting activities on campus. They are organis
ed by different student clubs. If interested, you can join them. It's a good way to i
mprove communication skills, to make friends and to enjoy your hobbies.
布朗女士：校内有许多有趣的活动。它们是由不同的学生社团组织的。如果你感兴趣
就可以参加。这是提高沟通技巧、交朋友和享受爱好的一种好方式。
Peter: This is my first time to share a room with strangers. I feel a little bit unc
omfortable. What should I do?
彼得：这是我第一次和陌生人一块儿住一个房间。我觉得有点别扭。我该怎么办？
