Inspection of the power supply area of the controller

Power for GUI/RT PC is supplied from J3 Port of the CP60 Main Power Supply Unit.

The power passes through the AC 120V Adapter and is supplied to GUI & RT PC. And

power to the boards (386EX, Multi-I/O, lighting, Numio, Tep-Axis ) on

the back of the machine is supplied from CP60 Main Power Supply, Power distribution

board, and single Power Supply of +-15V and +5V.

§ Hard disk detection

ú First supply power and boot the system. Press the key or the key

to go into CMOS Setup.

ú From the MAIN Menu, select STANDARD CMOS Setup Menu, and move to

the Primary Master by using the <ß>, <à>, <â>, and <á> keys, then change

the Hard Disk type to auto by using the , and keys.

ú Change to the Main Menu by using the key and enter into IDE HDD

AUTO DETECTION.

ú Of the automatically detected, select the LBA mode.

ú Switch to the Main Menu by using the key and select SAVE & EXIT

Setup and save.

ú The system automatically reboots and detects the hard disk.

§ Booting by the floppy disk

If IDE HDD AUTO DETECTION can not be carried out, follow the following

procedure.

ú From CMOS Setup in the MAIN Menu, select BIOS FEATURES Setup, and

select Boot Sequence: A, C by using the , and keys.

ú Exit to the Main Menu by pressing the key, and save and end.

ú Insert the Windows 98 booting disk into the floppy disk drive and boot.

ú After booting, check and restore the hard disk status by using the command of

SCANDISK C: .

ú If the hard disk is damaged, contact our C/S to set it again.

w Check if the SBC is connected to the floppy disk drive correctly.
