Place a one-inch straight pin in the thickest part of shoulder pad.
Push pin all the way through the pad until the head of the pin
reaches the top of the pad. Be sure not to crush pad. Measure
the portion of the pin sticking out of the pad. Subtract this figure
from one inch (length of the pin) to get shoulder pad height.
Measure from neck edge or joining seam straight across shoulder
seam or natural shoulder line to start of shoulder pad.
Measure straight across front at finished neck and armhole joining
seams.
Measure straight across back front at finished neck and armhole
joining seams.
Position ruler straight across bottom edge of side seams and
perpendicular to CF. Measure height of tail from edge of ruler to
bottom edge at CF.
