My teacher told us we have to write an essay about what we

did over the winter break for our English class and it has to be

2000 words long which is a lot of words I have never written

something that long before but I will try my best. The first thing I

did over break was go with my family to visit my grandparents in

Florida it was really warm there and sunny every day which was

nice because back home it is really cold and snowy in the winters

my little brother kept trying to go to the beach but the water was

too cold for swimming so we just walked along the beach and

collected seashells. On Christmas day we opened a lot of

presents at my grandparents' house and I got a new bike and a

video game I had been wanting my brother got some new toys

too but he is still young so he was probably more excited about

the boxes everything came in than the actual presents. After New

Year's we went to Disney World which was SO MUCH FUN I had

been there once before when I was little but this time I was tall

enough to go on all the biggest roller coasters like Space

Mountain and Expedition Everest they were extremely fast and

loopy but not actually scary just a huge adrenaline rush. My

favorite part might have been the nighttime fireworks show at

Cinderella's Castle it was beautiful with so many bright colors

lighting up the whole park and I tried to count how many

fireworks were going off but quickly lost track because there

were so many all at once it was magical to watch. That was my

winter break in a few sentences going to the beach in Florida

celebrating Christmas and New Year's with my family and going

to Disney World to ride the roller coasters and see the fireworks I

had so much fun and cannot wait for spring break when we

might get to go somewhere exciting again.
