Guide to Hacking the FITEC High-Torque Servo for Continuous Rotation

Introduction
Follow this guide in order to allow the servo motor to rotate continuously. By hacking the servo, it loses
its ability to set angles. This means once hacked, the servo no longer operates with commands from the
servo library, but rather acts as the other motors provided in the FEH store. If you must retain accuracy
with your servo, in order to set specific angles, do NOT hack it. Once a servo is hacked, it cannot be un-
hacked.

Step-by-step Guide
1. Acquire materials. Your toolbag should have solder, a small screw driver, safety glasses, wire
strippers. A file can be retrieved from the store.

2. Unscrew the four screws from the back of the servo, as shown in Figure 2.
