My Insect Growth Observation Journal:。
Butterfly。
Hello friends,。
I am here to share my observations on the growth and
transformation of a beautiful creature, the butterfly. I have
been observing the life cycle of this insect closely and I must
say it's fascinating!
Egg Stage: 。
It all started when I found a tiny, round and translucent
egg on the leaf of a plant in my garden. I knew it was a
butterfly's egg since it had a unique shape and texture.
Eventually, the egg hatched after a week or so, and out came the
little caterpillar.
Caterpillar Stage: 。
The caterpillar was no longer than an inch in length and had
a bright green body with stripes of yellow and black. The little
creature had a voracious appetite and kept munching on the
leaves of the plant. Every day, it grew in size, and with each
molt, it shed its skin and revealed a new layer.
Pupa Stage: 。
After ten days or so, the caterpillar stopped eating and
climbed up a stem of the plant to find a safe spot to pupate. It
attached itself by making a silk thread and formed a chrysalis.
The chrysalis was light green at first but turned dark brown as
time passed. I noticed that the chrysalis had a beautiful golden
band around its middle, and its shape resembled a jewel.
Butterfly Stage: 。
The pupa stage lasted for about ten days. It was the most
exciting time for me because I knew that the beautiful butterfly
would emerge soon. And one fine morning, I witnessed the magic
unfold. The chrysalis split open, and out emerged a magnificent
butterfly. It was delicate, with wings of orange and black, and
spots of white.
Conclusion: 。
It has been an incredible journey to watch the life cycle of
a butterfly unfold. It's like seeing a beautiful piece of art
getting formed from scratch. I realize that there is so much
more to nature than what meets the eye. I hope you enjoyed
reading this journal, and I encourage you to explore and learn
more about the wonders of nature all around us.
Till next time!
